Commentaires: Nous n'étions jamais allé à New York et j'avais envie de retourner à Yellowstone car nous n'en avions pas vraiment profité en 2000. J'ai donc axé ce voyage autour de New York pour commencer, quelques jours dans les montagnes autour de Salt Lake city, une semaine à Moab puis retour vers le Nord avec 2 jours à Grand Teton et une semaine à Yellowstone. Pas besoin de SUV de combat cette année, un break Subaru Outback AWD a largement fait l'affaire (très économique en essence en plus d'avoir tout de même de bonnes aptitudes en off road). Nous avons visité bien moins de site que d'habitude mais au final nous avons plus profité sur place en faisant bien moins de km en voiture et avec new York au début, ce voyage restera comme un de nos meilleurs. De plus nous avons eu une chance incroyable (mais 2012 est une année extrèmement sèche aux Etats Unis) avec une semaine de beau temps à Yellowstone ce qui est très rare en juin.
